Please join us in welcoming Andrew Beck and Carla Vass to the rideOS family. Both see value in the rideOS platform and are passionate about our mission to accelerate the safe global roll-out of next-generation transport.
Andrew Beck joins us after having most recently served as Senior Manager of Business Development at Uber ATG, where over the course of 4+ years he led partnerships with OEMs and suppliers — including Uber ATG’s commercial deal with Toyota that involved a $1B investment by Toyota, Softbank, and Denso into Uber ATG. Prior to focusing on autonomous vehicles, Andrew was one of the founding members of the core Global Business Team at Uber where he led various driver loyalty and payments partnerships. And Andrew’s experience in mobility actually goes all the way back to being an early member of Uber’s SF Ops team, where he led operations for UberBlack in San Francisco back in 2013. We could not be more thrilled to have Andrew joining rideOS to help our partners build out their own mobility, logistics and AV businesses.
We are also extremely fortunate to have Carla Vass joining our team, who brings unique expertise in the area of autonomous delivery services. She most recently spent the past two years leading delivery and logistics strategic partnerships for Waymo. Prior to Waymo, Carla was a founding member of UberEATS and served as its first business development professional. In this role, Carla led global deal strategy and execution for Uber’s food delivery partnerships, including co-leading the McDonald's partnership across 12,000+ global locations. Prior to leading BD for UberEATS, Carla also played a key operational role in Uber’s early days. She joined Uber when there were only 150 people, helped successfully build the uberX business in New York City, and helped launch UberRUSH — Uber's first logistics product. With her passion for mobility as well as her impressive track record of driving business strategy and execution through partnerships, Carla is uniquely qualified to help us strengthen our new delivery team and we are excited to have her onboard.
